Manual Essential or electric Classic?
Both have the same powder-coated aluminium build with 135 x 135 mm posts. Manual Essential has a hand crank roof, three sizes and no electrician needed for the roof. Electric Classic has an electric roof with a wireless remote, nine sizes, a custom height option, higher snow load ratings and Perimeter LED Lighting.
What size do I need?
Manual Essential comes in 3 x 3, 3 x 4 and 3 x 5 m. Electric Classic comes in nine sizes from 3 x 4 m to 4 x 6 m, including 3.5 m widths. Our pergola sizes guide shows the footprint, price and snow load of each size.
Do I need planning permission?
Rules vary by local authority and structure size. Many lightweight outdoor structures do not require permission, but check with your local planning office before installation.
Freestanding or wall mounted?
Both models can be freestanding or wall-mounted, at the same price. On a wall-mounted Essential the louvres run parallel to the wall.
What's included?
The kit includes the pergola components, concrete anchor screws and Allen keys (sizes 4 and 5). Clear instructions are supplied for freestanding or wall mounted assembly.
How long does it take?
Every pergola is made to order. Estimated delivery is around 4 to 6 weeks.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales only. Delivery is included in the product price.
