How it works

From the first click to the first evening outside, here is how buying a Sunnier pergola works. Clear online pricing at every step, and a UK team on freephone 0808 168 3131 if you'd rather talk it through.

1. Choose your model

Two models, the same solid aluminium build.

  • Pergola Essential, from £6,459: a hand crank louvre roof, three sizes from 3 × 3 m to 3 × 5 m, and no electrician needed for the roof.
  • Pergola Classic, from £7,550: an electric louvre roof with a wireless remote, nine sizes from 3 × 4 m to 4 × 6 m and a custom height option. Optional perimeter LED lighting around the frame is available on both models.

Not sure which? Compare them side by side.

2. Configure it and see your price

On the product page, pick your size, finish and mount (freestanding or wall-mounted). On Classic you can also set a custom height from 2,100 to 2,800 mm. Add side screens by side, size and colour, or the 3 kW heater. The price updates as you choose, and it's the same in every finish and either mount. Our pergola sizes guide helps you pick the right footprint.

3. Talk it through, if you like

You don't have to decide alone. Use "Save this design & get a callback" and the team will ring you back, with no payment required. Or book a free consultation to see a Sunnier pergola at our Stoke-on-Trent showroom.

4. Order online

Add your pergola to the basket and pay through our secure checkout. At this stage you also tell us how you'll put it up: self assembly, or a request for an installer quote. Requesting a quote adds nothing to your order.

5. We make it to order

Your pergola is built after you order, to the size, finish and mount you chose. It's designed in Germany and made in the EU. Estimated delivery is around 4 to 6 weeks.

6. Delivery

When it's ready, Sunnier or our delivery partner contacts you to arrange a date. It arrives kerbside, or at a safe unloading point close to your address, in several long packages. Check the packages before the driver leaves and tell us within 7 days about anything damaged or missing. More in Delivery and installation.

7. Put it up

Do it yourself with the clear instructions: Essential typically takes experienced DIYers about 3 to 5 hours, and Classic typically takes 2 to 3 people a day. Classic needs a 230V supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for the wiring. Or let our independent installation partner quote you separately, typically from £580 (Essential) or £660 (Classic) inc VAT. See pergola installation.

8. Enjoy it, year after year

Powder-coated aluminium needs no painting or sealing. Wash it with water and mild soap, keep the gutters clear, and follow our Care and Maintenance Guide. The structure has a 10-year warranty, and Classic adds 2 years on the motor and electronics. See Warranty.

Questions about ordering

Do I have to pay to save my design?

No. Save your design and the team will call you back. No payment required.

When is my pergola made?

After you order. It's made to order in your chosen size, finish and mount, with estimated delivery in around 4 to 6 weeks.

Does requesting an installer quote add to my order?

No. The independent installation partner quotes you separately, and nothing is added to your Sunnier order.

Who do I contact after delivery?

Sunnier, on 0808 168 3131, for anything about the pergola itself. If you use an installer, they handle questions about their installation work.
